SAFED has developed specialist Know How in several specific applications and build furnaces precisely designed to match the process requirements. Major developments include: Nitrocarburising furnaces - SAFED OXYCAD® process SAFED has been pioneering Nitrocarburising in continuous furnaces for many years and has developed its own process for this purpose - the SAFED OXYCAD® process. The advantages of this process are high surface hardness for wear resistance and almost zero distortion as it is carried out at comparatively low temperatures, typically 570 °C or 720 °C. The process can also be used to achieve corrosion resistance. |
